The ATI FireMV 2260 series of professional 2D
graphics cards boasts innovative low profile dual
monitor design which means they will fit into
standard Low Profile and Full Height systems.
This enables integration into a wide range of
machines with a single card, helping to lower and
simplify qualification and maintenance.
The ATI FireMV design utilizes passive cooling for
high mean time between failures (MTBF)
providing superior reliability. Its inherently low
power consumption helps reduce the overall
power load without sacrificing performance—an
increasingly important benefit to sites with a
large installed user base.
More memory, stability and flexibility
ATI FireMV 2260 cards feature 256 MB of
dedicated on-board memory for each display to
enable maximum stability and unparalleled
performance. Also with Microsoft DirectX® 10.1
support the ATI FireMV 2260 exceeds all of the
Windows Vista Aero minimum requirements. To
provide added flexibility, dual ATI FireMV 2260
cards can be combined to drive even more
displays.
Every ATI FireMV 2260 card meets the industry’s
highest standards for resolution, up to 8 million
pixels, the equivalent of four 1600x1200 monitors.
The ATI FireMV 2260 is AMD’s first low profile card
capable of supporting this output bringing the
ability to support dual ultra high res panels to
practically any desktop configuration.
