DESCRIPTION
Thi s Transient Voltage Suppress or ser ies of M15KP22A – M15KP280CA offers an extended
vol tage range and al so provides a variety of high rel iabi lity, uni- a nd bi -dir ectional opt i ons as
well RoHS c ompliant versions ar e available. These devices have t he ability t o cl amp
danger ous hi gh volt age t r ansients such as secondary effects of lightning strikes, providing
ci r cuit pr otecti on t o several clas s levels in the IEC61000-4-5 specification. Clamping time is
virt ually instantaneous . It al so pr ovides protec tion from tr ansi ents caus ed b y induc tive l oad
dumps, RFI, and ESD, providing protection to IEC61000-4-2 and -4-4.
